No ability to insert code samples in a PM

It would be useful be able to insert code samples in a PM.

    Also, I'd like the full formatting tool bar to be available there.

    BTW, I was unable to edit the first post in this thread - well before the 30 minute edit window had expired.  The three dots in the upper right appear for replies, but not for the initial post.

        My only options right after posting this are "Copy Link", "Follow" and "Report".

    Totally agree — having the option to share code snippets in private messages would make technical collaboration much smoother, especially for support or dev-related discussions.

      Hello fzmuhammad​  and StephenB​ ,

       

      I have a request open with Khoros (Community platform) to expand the text editing capabilities within the private messaging area and they advised that this request is already on the product roadmap. I am hoping to get more information on an eta for availability. 

       

      In the meantime, you should be able to add an attachment if you want to share code via a .txt or .doc format. I agree... not ideal... but it's somethin'.
