PLEASE CLOSE OLD THREADS
Yes, I'M YELLING!
Users are resurrecting old threads. Some are genuine requests for help that should simply be a new post, but many seem to be a new user seeking to gain status points, most likely to make SPAM posts in the future.
This is my second time bringing this up -- there was no reply from anyone at Netgear to the first one.

And here we are two weeks later with no official reply. Obviously, I'm wasting my time posting here. This forum should be called "Post your problems here if it makes you feel better, but we'll just ignore them."

Agreed please close old threads to keep the forum clean and relevant.

And STILL no reply from a Netgear representative. If the answer is "The software doesn't have that option", THEN POST THAT. But don't leave us hanging thinking that you simply don't read these or care about reported issues.
Of course, if the software doesn't allow for that, then Netgear's internal testing prior to going live was insufficient and the software is not ready for prime time. Auto-closing old threads is a basic forum need.

It'd be good to automatically close threads that are older than a year old.
I'd agree. I hate when it happens.
