Please lock old threads.
Users are resurrecting old threads left and right, and the issue being discussed is often either not the same as theirs or has been resolved for the original post in a firmware update. PLEASE lock at least all messages >1 year old.

And here is another reason. A user has gone into this 5-year-old thread and simply copied the content of old posts: Minecraft Linux on ReadyNas Pro Pioneer | NETGEAR Communities. Why would one do that?
- They won't be automatically rejected as SPAM.
- He thinks nobody will see them.
- Posting will then raise his reputation till he is able to post SPAM or other inappropriate messages.

I took another look at them, and there were spam links in them (not relevant to ReadyNAS). So I have now rejected them as spam.

Another reason is now in the mix, thanks to search engines leading with AI summaries. Spreading repeated text around can influence those summaries.
