Just to close the loop on the "quoting" feature. It appears the platform has been "enhanced". To use the "Quote this" follow the steps below:
Click Reply
Highlight as much text as applicable from the original post that you want to quote.
Click the Quote this Icon that should appear above the highlighted text.

Please confirm if these steps fix the quoting issue.
Extremely unhandy if one want to split a reply into multiple parts or quotes different sections, one has to scroll back to the post to be quoted, mark -again- locate and click the flying quoting function icon. Copy-paste the complete open editor content does not work, nor does the Blockquote icon of the active editor session allow to copy pase an complete or part of a text to be quoted.
Back to the makers of this "usability" **** sorry - this s**s.
Why on earth that "Blockquote" fucntion in the editor does -always- come up empty, like this???
