Quoting and Private Messages doesn't work

Just to close the loop on the "quoting" feature. It appears the platform has been "enhanced". To use the "Quote this" follow the steps below:
Click Reply
Highlight as much text as applicable from the original post that you want to quote.
Click the Quote this Icon that should appear above the highlighted text.
Please confirm if these steps fix the quoting issue

That does work, in part. But note that the numbering in your list wasn't included in the quote because it won't highlight. And if I try to add the numbering back with the numbered list button, it is shown as just one item.

Text structures like bullet lists and numbered lists, as well as special formatting like bold text are -not- taken over as part of the quote. Compare with your original post:
