Since you’ve already reset the router and repeated the basic troubleshooting, I’d check the firmware version first. NETGEAR released RS300 firmware version 1.2.7.2 on June 1, 2026, which includes a fix for the ACL list not retaining disconnected devices and showing limited entries. If you’re running an older version, updating may help.
If the issue continues after updating, compare the exact MAC address of the device in both lists and check whether your phone or laptop is using a randomized or private Wi-Fi address. If the same MAC address still appears as connected and disconnected at the same time, screenshots showing both entries, along with the firmware version, would help NETGEAR confirm whether this is a router interface or access-control bug.
