Usability - Last Reply/Last Replies

Extremely poor usability here?

 

For example, on the Insight, one can see there was an update today - but lacks any direct link. And no, i don't want to always change in between my e-mail inbox woth the notifications and the NTGR Community:

 

When browing down to the Insight Category (double "logical" item for essentially the same - WT*?), I see again the date of today, and further below under the Last Community Activity there is a 1 unread - and once more no wayl to click and access that unread post.

 

 

 

One more click later on Discussions, we find Newest Topics   Most Viewed   and   Solutions - but no way to locate the Unread Replies 

 

Appears this **** Khoros system was never undergoing -any- usability tests?

 

Back to Khoros, or to a smarter (default?) community configuration - I don't know fellow ChristineT​
