Raid 5, panne du NAS NV+, racheter le même ?
Bonjour, j'ai eu récemment un problème matériel sur mon NV+, l'alimentation a lâchée. J'en ai racheté une 100€ (pas donné) et tout est reparti. Cependant je me pose la question maintenant, ET SI ma...

I don't have a problem. There is my story:
Months ago, my supply failed. I have buy another (100€) and everything is ok now. But what next if my mother board fail with my X-RAID 5 ?
- Do i have to buy the exactly same hardware ? NV+ SPARC or i can buy an another model of ReadyNas (x86 and last model)
- Cannot put this in a Virtual Machine to access my data ?
It was so hard to find the supply (don't want to fix the cable by myself), so if i have to find a NV+... or a motherboard, i don't think this will be possible (for exemple in 5 years).
Maybe using a Software Raid is better ? Because we can change hardware.
I'm thinking to make my own software raid or stay with my NV+...
That is not critical data, so i don't want reserve an external back up drive (4 tb !), so if i can do something in case of Hardware problem it would be cool. Else i'll do a Raid-0 and external back-up. I don't need RAID-5 if hardware failure is a problem unlike the RAID 1 that is ok.
