Genie login

So here's one: Trying to login to my R7000 v 1.0.9.42 from my android phone (Motorola's Droid) works just fine...suddenly from my Amazon Fire I get a password error. I'm sure it worked last week ... But I did switch to this router just this week so I'm thinking that older version of Genie on the Amazon Fire is the issue?

 

Amazon Genie is v 2.1.51

Phone Genie is v 3.1.62

    1. Have you tried re-installing the app on the Amazon Fire?

    2. Have you tried changing the router password?

    3. If it is an option for you, you can try sideloading the updated version of the Genie app from APKMirror.com if available. This link may help.

      Using apx extractor I sideloaded Genie (via email) and that seemed to work! Thanks Dexter JB !!
