Trying to use Genie to config DGND3700 router

I am trying to logon to my N600 router using the Genie app on my iPhone (app version 3.1.74, IOS 12.1.4 on iPhone SE) and all I get when I enter the correct password is:   Login Failed NETGEAR ...

From looking it up the dgnd3700v1 doesn't support genie. The version 2 does. Not sure which one you have. If its the version 2, make sure your firmware is up to date before trying to use the genie. Older versions might not be compatible.

Thanks for your reply. It looks like the router is V1 so that's a non-starter! I'll stay with the web interface.

    The browser on your iThings will give you much more control than the dumbed down app.
