WNDR4300 assigning public IPs to BLOCKED, STILL-CONNECTED MAC addresses
Any idea(s) why, after blocking (via Access Control) 3 MAC addresses days ago, all 3 devices are still connected to network? Additionally, 2 are still assigned public IP addresses, the other is wired ...
In the decade since the release of that box, Netgear has made all manner of changes to how these things work, especially on the "access" front. Some of those changes were in the firmware. It hasn't had a firmware update in six years.
You've posted in the Genie section. (Which one do you have?) Netgear also retired the mobile version of that some time ago.
The also WNDR4300 doesn't support the NightHawk app. Too old.
