add wife adapter to a PL2000 power line adapter network?
I have installed a PLP2000 with extra outlet in my home. I have used this to create a direct ethernet connection for my smart tv. I would like to add a wifi plug in the basement to improve the wifi signal. What wifi power line plug would be compatible with the PLP2000?

You have two options, get a Powerline bundle that comes with a wifi access point or a standalone extender.
PLW1010 | Powerline | Networking | Home | NETGEAR
Netgear does not sell standalone AP plugs, but other brands might also work, so long as they are "AV" compliant.
Most recent Powerline devices follow the AV standard, which means that you can mix different makes and different generations. The only issue if that if you add "1000" plugs to a network with "500" plugs they will talk to each other at the speed of the slowest plugs on the network.
The alternative is to get any wifi extender that will work in wireless access point mode.
