Blinking red light on adapter when in use?

Question

So i know that when the light is red its a loss in 50 mbps but it only blinks red when i test the internet speed.. not when i am gaming on my desktop (its green when gaming) but i use the speedtest it blinks red. I did lose some speed and upload speed is fine but im confused

Apart from the confusing lights, do you have any problems with your powerline network?

Well in one corner where I originally had my gaming set up i usualyy had 120+ mbps with wifi and 45 upload speed when i had the adapter set up i only had 40 mbps and 30 upload, and it would blink every few seconds but i tested the outlet where my closet is and i have 100 mbps and 40 upload but its fine, once in a blue moon it would blink red other than that i would be playing (fortnite) and my ping would be 50 in the pregame lobby before jumping out of the bus but when i was playing i had 30 or less but with wifi i had 25 or less, its so weird how it works
