Can I add another Powerline XAVN2001 Extender

I bought the Powerline AV 200 Wireless-N Extender Kit (XAVNB2001). It works really well. Unfortunately, I still have dead spots in the house (thick solid walls).

The Extender (XAVN2001) is connected via powerline to an Adapter (XAV2101) which in turn is connected to a modem/router.

Can I add an additional Extender (XAVN2001)?

If not, any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thank you.

  • Yes you can add multiple XAVN2001 to the powerline network, using the same base unit connected to the gateway.

Although you need to buy the whole kit, you you can use the spare XAV2001 (or XAV2101) to wire another network device around the house
