Connecting XET1001 and XE104
Hello everybody
Until saturday i had in my flat the xet1001 and the xe104 running. Saturday I plugged out both of them to have a try with a dlink powerline. Plugged out the dlink now I didnt find out how to bring the netgear together.
xet1001 is connected directly to the router (as it was in the past) with 3 lights on
xe104 is connected to my ps3 and my dreambox (as in the past)
xe104 has only 2 lights on and the ethernet light is not running. xe104 is in his old place plugged in and I didnt change nothing.
any suggestions how i can solve this problem ?
thx

- jmizoguchiVirtuosomixing manufacture could be an issues.
power line has protocol "home plug"
http://support.netgear.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/1125
all the device must be at least on same "home plug" protocol nor it will not work
ex... XET and HDX model from netgear will not work because both issues different protocol and there are not compatible each other - curi83Aspirantoh i'm sorry if I didnt mention it but the dlink things has been only a try to see if they work
they are not anymore in use i went back to my netgears so i have only the 2 netgears "working" right now
so i'm only interesting to get match the xet1001 and the xe104 - jmizoguchiVirtuososhould work been both are same family..
see FAQ for compatible with protocol

try in the same room would be your first test
