Help me before I take a hammer to this thing
I have cable internet. I am using a Motorola SB5101U modem. I have a Netgear FS605 v3 router. I have my desktop connected through the router and it is working fine, but I can't get my laptop or Magic Jack to work through it. How do I get them to work?

buy a router - Oh geez- so what is this thing supposed to do? I thought I bought a router but now I see the box says switch :rolleyes:
