Just contacted Netgear. I have this HDX101 powerline homeplug model. They say these older models no not have firmware in place that matches with the new Powerline generation and its firmware. So I expect it will not be working as expected regarding this statement that all Powerline adapters will work. I am very confused because these older models where quite expensive at the time.
