Netgear PLP2000-100pas to create wired backhaul for Netgear Orbi RBK852

I am trying to create a wired backhaul solution for a new Orbi RBK852 Mesh system purchase.  I need to know if I can use the Netgear PLP2000-100pas Powerline Adapters to create a "wired" backhaul.  The distance is on the very edge of wifi in my home for the Orbi satellite from the Obi Router.  Are there any compatibility issues that I need to know about before I purchase the solution?

Yes. It works, but that is the key factor, your network setup.

If your Internet connection is faster than your Powerline network, you will lose speed. How much is down to local conditions.

It worked fine for me with a DSL connection, but that has a maximum speed of ~70 Mbps. My plugs boast a "1000 Mbps Powerline interface" and "10/100/1000Mbps Gigabit Ethernet port". Even allowing for the marketing exaggeration and management overhead, that should be fast enough for a DSL connection.

PLP2000 plugs claim Bandwidth 2000 Mbps.

provided the powerline connection is fine, it should work. But the powerline connection will usually be the bottleneck.

I've done it before with a lower performing powerline setup.
