NetGear Powerline 2000

So I have one powerline 2000 outlet on my modem and another on my Xbox. Whenever my Xbox is off, both ethernet and pick a plug leds are off, but the power led is blinking green. And when I turn my Xbox on, all leds turns on green in a few seconds. What does it mean and is it normal? The outlets do work so far and is greatly improving my Xbox online gaming experience.

The pick-a-plug LEDs tell you about the quality of the link between plugs. If one plug is off. there is no link so the LED goes off.

The ethernet LED tells you that something is connected to the ethernet port. If there is nothing connected to the port, then the LED goes off. Test it by leaving the Xbox and unplugging its ethernet connection.

The power LED is a sign that there is power to the plug.
