Hi Did you get anywhere with this??
I have the same issue (i think).
I got the powerline network / wifi extender for my mac OSX / o2 broadband setup. I got the thing up and running very quickly and easily which was great and unexpected - however i noticed that the extension to the network is completely unsecured. I have previously tried to enter the password from the wifi extender in the powerline util but it seemed to crash and freeze up - had to reset and go back to square one - tried again but the same happend.
I don't mind if the extension has the same password / name as existing network or not - but it doesn't seem clear if you are not a system administrator to get this working - can anyone help with simple mac OSX instructions to get it secured?
Thanks
