Only two of three lights are turned on at the top of my adapter.
The power and ethernet lights are both on at the top of my adapter however the Powerline one isn't. Every once in while it flashes green for a second or two but it still fails to provide any Internet ...

Is this a new installation, or did a previously-working installation
fail, or what?
Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Documentation. Get the User Manual (at least). Read. Look for the
basic set-up instructions?

I have had it for about a year. Nothing at all has changed and yet its suddenly doing this today and yesterday. There was a brief period somewhat 5 hours ago where it worked for an hour or two.
