What says there is no Internet? A prompt of some sort? A pop-up Window?
Is this a Windows PC?
My first guess is that you need to tell Windows that you are on a "private network".
- Network and Internet settings
- Network Status
- Change Connection Properties
- Network Profile
- Private
If that isn't the issue, tell us more about your network. The router handles the Internet connection. What is it?

I have tried on two or three different windows machines and my Mac and still get the same thing. It will just say identifying where normally the network's name and then under it it says no internet access and the computer automatically defaults to the wireless network. I haven't tried changing any of the settings or tell the computer it's a private network, so I will try and do that. I am using comcast and I have my own router and it's a pretty good one because it will handling streaming and gaming with no problem. I do have my nas, and Apple TV wired to the router and I have no problems.
