PLP 2000 how to connect a SMART RG router to the PLP 2000 as an extended wifi point.
Recently purchased powerline 2000 kit and would like to extend my network with an other router. How do I accomplish this?

It is usually a bad idea to add "another router" to a network that already has one.

Instead you could use the PLP2000 as a Ethernet connection to add an extender in wireless access point (AP) mode. You plug the AP into the Powerline plug. That's a better way of extending a network than using a wifi repeater.
While most routers do support AP mode, unless you have a spare lying around that you can use that is a bit of a waste.

Instead, there are various purpose built extenders that you could consider. The choice depends on the router you own already.
