PLP2000 continues to disconnect from eachother and fails to pair back up

Had the powerline adapters for about a year and worked fine but the past month they fail to work properly. The pick a plug LED on my second adapter that is connected to my pc does not turn on. The pick a plug LED on the first adapter turns on but stays as red. I have tried placing both in the same room and it works fine but once I bring the second downstairs and try to get internet on my PC it fails. Please help if you have any knowledge on this!

More than likely something in your home is injecting interference into the powerline system. If they work in the same room (same circuit) that usually indicates that the devices themselves are good. The further apart they are or on seperate circuits, the more sensitive to inferference they are.

    Things that cause interference:

    cheap cell phone chargers

    old/bad/poorly made electronics

    high draw appliances

    surge protectors

    arc fault breakers

    gfci outlets

    old/bad wiring

even things like electronics going bad can start injecting interference when they worked fine for year.

Its tough to say whats causing it without going around and unplugging a ton of devices and plugging them back in slowly to see which one is causing it
