Plp2000 dead after 1 year.

I've been using the 2 powerline adapters for a year, one near the router inside an in-wall network panel box, and one in my home office, which doesn't have an ethernet jack. It worked great since October 2019. The one in my office died just mere days after free 1 year warranty is up. The thing no longer lights up, and does not provide power to the extra plug. Anyone ever successfully repaired one of these? I'm pretty handy with a soldering iron.
