PLP2000 Filtered Power Socket Not Working

I have the Powerline Adapter PLP2000 model. The Filtered Power Socket isn't working. Everything else is working. I've trying doing a Factory Reset using the button on the Powerline Adapter and I've tried pluggint the Powerline Adapter into different Wall Electrical Socekts and the Filternet Power Socket on the Powerline Adapter isn't working at all. 

 

Would reinstalling the firmware do anything? I couldn't find how to do that anywhere on the Community Forum or the Netgear Support pages or the Manual. I am open to any other suggestsons.

    You mean the pass through socket isn't working? If it isn't, I'd open a support ticket/RMA ticket with netgear. Or if you purchased it recently enough, I'd exchange it. Sadly, defects do happen but I wouldn't want to have a sketch socket you're plugging other electronics into.
