- Jan 06, 2021You can mix/match powerline adapters (even between manufacturers) provided the follow the same standard. The XAV2001 was a homeplug AV1 device. You can use homeplug av2 devices with it but they're going to operate at the slowest devices speeds. Which for the xav2001 is a 200mbps device.
