powerline 1000 plugged in to wall / power led light goes off after about 2 seconds
Set up the Powerline 1000 in my house. All the lights came on normally. Placed one of the adapters next to the front of my garage and the other plugged in across the street to my shop. When I plugged...
My shop has it's own meter because it's across the street. So what your telling me it won't work. I appreciate your response. Any suggestions for Arlo cameras? Thinking about directional (beam) antenna.
arlo camera's and beam antenna's are different.
If you're wanting security camera's, you'd have to ask on their forums.
In terms of "beam antenna', I take it you mean point to point systems like netgear airbridge. If you've got a straight line of sight, it'd work fine.

yeah it does. But netgears airbridge is rated to 3km (9000ft).
I'd doubt the street is that wide :)

Wow. That's long range.
Beats alternatives like the Orbi outdoor satellite, the RBS50Y. That talks area (2,500 sq Outdoors) rather than range.
