Powerline 1200 Both Devices Have 3 Green Lights, No Internet

Just attempted to setup Powerline 1200 adapter. Here are some bullet points pertaining to post:

- Both devices show three green lights after pairing and harwiring one end directly to router and other end directly to laptop

- Both devices plugged directly into wall outlet, no power strips, etc.

- I have tried multiple factory resets with no success

- After not being able to get to work on a known good network, I brought them to another completely home with a completely sepearate network, factory reset, confirmed pairing and three green lights again on both. Same result, no internet.

- When doing a network scan, I am able to see an IP address of adapter plugged directly into router.

I own an A/V company and even had one of my lead technicians try to connect but again with no success. I am either missing something or there is a harware issue.

Any ideas?

What and how are you trying to connect to the Internet? The usual source of problems is on that side. The Powerline plugs are just a bit of wire. They need the clients to play ball. For example, Windows PCs can gag in the new network. Does your laptop throw up an error message of some sort?

Scan how?  Powerline plugs don't have an IP address, unless they are the ones with a bundled wifi access point. But that's not the PL1200.
