Powerline 1200 Kit worked flawlessly, now no ethernet

I purchased the PL1200 kit, one with a single ethernet, and single pair of adapters. Set them up in their locations and they've been working flawlessly. Their only use is strictly for my wife's office/work phone to have internet. Been working that way for quite sometime now. Now for some reason, there is no ethernet. They both are able to get ethernet, switched them with one another's location. Nothing has changed in our house, wiring is the same. Settings are the same on our internet. Speeds. Everything. I'm at a loss and she can't work from home without it. I've tried the factory reset option on the adapters as the troubleshoot manual states.

try moving them to the same room (same circuit) and see if they work.

Problem with homes is everything powered, is on the powerline system. and if something is going bad or suddenly injecting interference in the system, then it causes problems.

So my first step is usually to have people move them to the same room to be on the same circuit. If they work, it isn't the devices.

If they don't, then you can try them at a different location as if the device going bad is injecting enough interference, it could even cause the problem on the same circuit.

If they do work fine on the same circuit, go around the home and start unplugging things. You might be surprised what can cause issues (like cheap cell phone chargers)

What happens when you try establish a connection?

You need to pin it down to the plugs. It may be that Windows, for example, has done some sort of update that has changed the network settings on your devices.

Look for any clues in Windows networking. or whatever you have connected to the Internet.

That needs some sort of wifi connection. PL1200s alone don't provide wifi. So what delivers that wifi?
