Powerline 1200 life
How long do these extenders last? Mine is over 4 years old. Having a few problems and trying to eliminate culprits.

I have them twice that age. Still working.

Start telling people about the problems rather than a vague question.

Sorry I was vague.
The problem I'm having is in relation to videoconferencing using doxy.me.
Recently, admitting someone from the "waiting room" has started taking a very long time, even to the point of having to give up and start over. One of the suggestions Doxy.me gave me was to clear the browser cache, which helps, but only for one visit, and it still takes an unusually long time to admit someone. The Ethernet cable is plugged into the PL1200, so I am not using WiFi. Everything else seems to be working normally. The HP laptop is only a few months old, Router and cable modem are about 3 years old. I thought it might be the PL1200 going bad.The Doxy.me website has been working well since getting the new laptop, until this problem developed just a few days ago. Nothing else has changed.
Thanks for your response.

Hard to see how your powerline plugs can affect the behaviour of a particular website.
The plugs have no control over any of the Internet activity. (That is down to the router.) They are just fancy bits of wire that connect the two ends,
