Powerline 2000 Extra outlet not working

I am trying to connect my xbox to this thing and it has all three green lights on. The Xbox is saying the NAT type is unavailable. IPv4 & IPv6 Wired looks good.

I will select Test Network Connection and it will take forever but say all good, but its not connection to Xbox live... Any ideas?

Does the Xbox work OK if you leave the Powerline plug out of the picture? Connected to the router for example?

Do other devices work if connected through that plug on the network?

Xbox can be a beast to set up whatever the network. I'd try to rule out that before homing in on the Powerline connection. In theory all that the plug does is to substitute for a wired connection to the router. It does nothing to manage the traffic. That is down to the router.

While many questions about routers are generic and could be answered anywhere, some things need specialist knowledge.

You might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers specific to your device, in the appropriate section for your hardware. That's probably here:

    Powerline Networking - NETGEAR Communities

You might like to search there for messages related to your issue.

I will ask the Netgear moderator to move your message.

In the meantime you could visit the support pages:

    Support | NETGEAR

Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware. Look at the label on the device for the model number.

    Check for various troubleshooting tips.

You may have done this already. I can't tell from your message.

I mention it because Netgear stopped supplying printed manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.
