That's really odd. Beyond setting up the connection, it shouldn't be down to your ISP to control what happens on your network.
Here's what one of the ISPs says:
Launch a web browser, such as Microsoft Edge, Firefox, Chrome, Safari etc. Type 192.168.0.1 into the address bar and press Enter. The Login page should open if you are connected to the home networking modem.
Then you should be able to control the gateway's WiFi
