Very slow download speed

Thanks for the reply. I tried several receptacles throughout my basement and 1st floor using large diameter extension cords. The best result I got was just over 40 Mbps. I then tried a bedroom recepticle and got 130 Mbps but it took 150 feet of cord, not a practical solution.
Anything else to try?
I'm not sure what you were trying with the extension cords.
But if you're were testing on the same circuit and got the 140 mbps and on a seperate circuit only got 40mbps, then it seems to indicate a home issue.
