what are the current 500 mbps / gigabit powerline adapters
Netgears site has multiple listings, online retailers have multiple listings, and there is no clear distinction between them.
Here is what i've found so far
5001
5004
5101
5201
5602
5604
what i'm looking for is the following:
No wireless on the units
single Gigabit port
500 Mbps transfer rate
as such, i THINK the 5101 is the right answer can someone confirm?

- INSIDEOFTAspirantXAV5201 would be it for you then

good suggestion, albeit a bit cumbersome.
one would think that Netgear might have better sales documents on their website to help consumers choose products. - INSIDEOFTAspirantSorry my bad.
The only one with 10/100/100 is:
XAV5101: One (1) 10/100/1000 Mbps port
XAV5004: Four (4) 10/100/1000 Mbps port - michaelkenwardGuru - Experienced UserI'm curious, if the plug does 500 Mbps, how much difference will there be between 100 and 1000 Mbps ports?

probably none, but the nano models appear to be the newer types and one would hope have some improved features. the price was also either the same or better for the gig port vs. the fast e port, so why not? - michaelkenwardGuru - Experienced UserMakes sense. Not that I have seen the XAV5101 much here in the UK. Just bought the slower pair.
