I've already set the adapter and the extender up to see each other. That's why I'm able to connect to the Internet by connecting an ethernet cable directly from the extender to the PC. In other words, I have a regular powerline system working perfectly fine. It's the extender's additional wifi capability that I'm having a problem with.
