XAV101 - problem after firmware update

Thank you jtrosky, I forgot to mention one identical point. "However, I found that the remote XAV101 (the one communicating over powerline) had the firmware update FAIL. " However it still works if I make it my main one connected to the router, but the other one doesn't work either as (the one communicating over powerline).
I'm curious if anyone has had a successful firmware update with this product with no problems.
