XAV101 not passing iTunes Sharing

Of course, the XAV101 utility for some reason won't launch in Snow Leopard and the XAV101 firmware cant be updated on a Mac as the firmware update aplication is PC only.
Can anyone assist me in how to get iTunes sharing back?
snow leopard is 64bit and they do work with 32bit but I don't think current app is compatible.
