We made the mistake of doing the firmware upgrade too on one of our XAV5004's. It is on the shelf waiting for a new update. We use the Netgear GS105 5 Port Gigabit Ethernet Switch 10/100/1000 Mbps behind our AVX500's. They are dependable, and run us around $30.
