XAV5004 never come out from sleep mode
My XAV5004 is working fine as long as there is a live connection on it, but if the machine (say a PS3) has turned off for a couple of days and this XAV5004 will never come out from standby mode! It's so annoying!
The only way that I learn is to power cycle it, but come on, can't you release a new firmware to fix it? Or do yourself a favour open source it OR at least let us revert back to older version that does not have this 'feature' to annoy the users!

It appears that the person was given a beta utility to upgrade the firmware of the XAV5004. He seemed to have opened up an online ticket for NETGEAR support where the suggestion for the beta firmware came from. Have you already tried connecting to other power outlets?- It would probably be better for you to call NETGEAR support and open a ticket if you still have the warranty for your unit.

This is same version as JonnoT posted (I checked the CRC) on sendspace! - And I am happy to report that after I applied 2.0.0.4 firmware for 2 weeks+, my XAV5004 remained online at all time without any active connection.
