XAV5501/XAVB5001/XAVB5501 Wake On Lan (WOL) support?

Hi everyone, I can't find anything in the powerline manuals or datasheets that indicates whether the XAV5501/XAVB5001/XAVB5501 powerline adapters support passing Wake on Lan (WOL) packets... Doe...

Just moved the device from the powerline ethernet bridge to the LAN and WOL worked perfectly so it appears that WOL doesn't work with the device being bridged via the powerline adapters. Is there some technical reason for this? Is there any workaround?
