XAVB5004 and XAVNB2001
Hi Guys, I'm thinking of adding the XAVNB2001 to my existing XAVB5004 setup but I was wondering what impact this might have. If I introduce a 200Mbps device will this reduce the max throughput of...

Thanks for the reply... here's some more info:
What I have already is an XAV5001 and XAV5004 (so basically the XAVB5004 kit) which means I can theoretically get a max speed of 500Mbps between those two devices - although of course I don't expect to get the full 500Mbps in reality.
So if I now add in a new 200Mbps device like the XAVN2001 what I'm wondering is whether the total speed of all the Powerline devices will drop to 200mbps since that is the speed of the slowest device or whethher the XAV5001 and XAV5004 will continue to communicate at up to 500Mbps.
My guess is that all devices would have to drop to a maximum of 200Mbps to allow the XAVN2001 to be part of the powerline network. Does that sound right or do you think I will still get :
XAV5001 <--> XAV5004 at up to 500mbps
XAV5001 <--> XAVN2001 at up to 200mbps
XAV5004 <--> XAVN2001 at up to 200mbps
Any suggestions gratefully received!
TIA
Andy
