XAVB5601 problems
1. Why is there no support page for the XAV5601 (or the 2-kit, XAVB5601)?? 2. Just installed this kit. Speeds are good, connection is made around 350 Mbps according to the Powerline utility. BUT, ...

I have a similar problem. I just got the XAVB5601 set and while connection is great when the two devices connect together and worked fine for a few hours; now it just keeps dropping the connection, resetting and then the moment it re-establishes the connection is drops again. Or at least that's what it looks like from the lights. It does look a little like it's doing a soft reset. The Powerline Utility... well in this case it doesn't help at all really - you can't upgrade the firmware or check device logs or pretty much anything that is useful beyond initial setup.
I've checked the various aspects like trying different sockets, looking for interfering equipment, even multiple factory resets. Nothing seems to work. It's a little strange since they did work for at least a couple hours. It seems like at least one of them has gotten into some sort of bad state. In fact, when testing tonight again they don't seem to recognise each other at all any more...
I have no choice but to return them, maybe I'll try another brand since it seems like connection can be established on my sockets given that the Netgear adaptors worked to start with (and I've not added anything to my power or LAN networks).
Both of mine have firmware 0.2.0.7CE, I'm wondering if that makes any difference. I don't know if this is the latest or several months old since the utility nor the Netgear website seem to say. I have a bunch of Netgear equipment and have trusted them for a long time but something just seems a little off with these.
