XAVB5601 problems
1. Why is there no support page for the XAV5601 (or the 2-kit, XAVB5601)?? 2. Just installed this kit. Speeds are good, connection is made around 350 Mbps according to the Powerline utility. BUT, ...

Does anyone knows what's the operating distance between two xavb5601 ? Have the same issue - devices keep loosing connection so I am trying to figure out is the problem is in the devices themselves or something else, like the distance between them. Even when they get linked to each other I only see the poorest connection speed.
Thanks.
I had this problem reported to Netgear 9 months ago. I then received a set of new XAVB5601 adapters, but I still had the same problem. After many tests I came to the conclusion that there is a problem with the adapters and not with my grid or network.
I have used the same sockets and wiring with 3 different types of powerline adapters (D-Link DHP-301 200mbit, Powerline Adapter 85Mbps Ethernet Eminent starting kit xLINE and TP-Link TL-PA411KIT 500mbit. With none of these adapters I have had a connection problem.
Meanwhile, I naturally contacted Netgear back. They forwarded my problem to level 3 (I think this means that engineers are solving the problem). I have given them all my test information. Now I'm waiting almost 1.5 months for an answer / solution.
