Sounds like the problem is with the wifi from the router. Are you sure it is still there?
If it can't see it, then it can't connect. Can anything see the 5 GHz?
No amount of messing around with your USB Adapter will fix broken wifi from the router.

Hello,
Yeah all the other devices in my appartment can connect to the 5G. The only one that can't is my desktop computer (which is the device on which the A7000 is connected to).
