Hi Blanca,

Thank you for welcoming me and for your response with a query.

My combination modem-router (aka "gateway") is a Hitron model CGN3ACSMR provided to me by Rogers (Canada). I'm not entirely sure what you mean by "another wireless device", but on my other computer (an HP EliteBook 840-G3 equipped with an Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 8260 wireless adapter) the Receive Rate and Transmit Rate are both 866.7 Mbps when I execute a Command Prompt>netsh wlan show interfaces. The key point here is that the Receive Rate and the Transmit Rate are identical, as one would expect.

Thank you for responding. Please check your modem-router settings and make sure that WMM is enabled.
