A6100
I want to use the A6100 USB adapter, but my desk top won't start the CD. I moved the computer just to plug into internet, but don't know what to do next. I am assuming I have to download something to allow this desktop computer to go wireless.

and feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware.
It will also have any software, firmware and drivers for your device.A6100 | Product | Support | NETGEAR
You can download the files on to anything you have that will hold the file. For example, you could put it on to a mobile phone and the file from that on to a PC.A6100 Software Version 1.0.0.36 | Answer | NETGEAR Support
You could just plug it in and see if Windows offers a generic driver that works.
