I recently purchased this device, the A6100, downloaded the software, plugged it in to my desktop, and it connected right away to my internet signal, that's great, now I have a wireless connection to...
do you go into windows and change it from a public connection (default for new networks) to private? That allows network discovery to work to install the printer driver.

No, I have not, didn't think I would need to. I may need to find a driver then. I installed the "software" with the A6100, but unless there were drivers within the "software", i have not specifically installed any "drivers".
1. make sure its set through windows to a private network
2. then do a scan for the wireless printer. It should auto-add it once detected on the private network

If you haven't installed drivers for the printers, the PC won't know what to do with print jobs.
