A6150 drivers

I purchased an A6150 a few years ago, to use with my Windows 7 Laptop in the UK, but at some stage I encountered 'blue screen' issues and disabled the device reverting to the internal 'Centrino' cards.  I am now looking at re-enabling the A6150 and wanted to check that I had the latest drivers to try and avoid any repetition of the blue creen issues.

I see that the latest driver is veriosn 1.0.0.5 which provides a bug fix to US customers, and that the previous version was 1.0.0.3.

When I go to Device Manager and try to update the driver it tells me that I have the best version already installed. This is shown as Driver Version 1030.29.627.2018 dated 07/12/2018.  Please can someone explain the appaent confusion.

Regards, Vic

Windows does what Windows does. It doesn't know about drivers from people like Netgear.

That's not the place to install yor "new" drivers.
