A7000 cant connect to 5g network

I just got this wifi adapter this new wifi adapter. I have spent nearly 6 hours connected to the 5g network and had a consistent 115 mbps download speed. All the sudden my internet was extremely slow. I did a speed test and was getting less than 5 mbps download. Now I cannot connect to the 5g network and it forces me to be on the 2.4g
